Spring Things
Published by jennifer on Tagged News, Massage Therapy, customer service, servicesAs the snow melts away, and the warm spring sun makes its anticipated arrival, the season of regrowth clutters our minds with thoughts of activity and change. In my mind, it is the true beginning of the New Year. And as we gear up our bodies for bike riding and landscaping, it is important to take note of more subtle nuances that lie ahead in the upcoming season.
There is a lot that people can do to take care of the body and mind. Exercising, in all of it’s forms, keeps us light on our feet and energetic in our step. Staying hydrated will prevent lethargy and sluggishness, and will ward away those late afternoon headaches.
In the same vein, there is alot that we can do to take care of your body and mind. Working out knots to keep you lose and limber. Flushing out toxins and metabollic waste to keep you running smooth. Offering you a safe haven for a guaranteed moment of true calm and relaxation. And it doesn’t stop there.
We are working to develop specialized packages; focusing in on groups of symptoms to help you pinpoint exactly what it is you need. April’s package is for sinus and allergy relief, something most Delawarians are all too familiar with. Sinus pressure points and lung percussion help open up restricted airway passages. Eucalyptus and tea tree oil aromatherapy provide a sensory benefit geared towards opening up the sinuses and preventing infection. A sixty minute session focused on the scalp and shoulders, neck and back can alleviate the stress of allergy season, or the wear and tear from coughing or constantly blowing your nose.
We are also excited to offer Ear Candling as an additional service. These long, paraffin and bees wax dipped cones are placed snuggly in the ear, and lit on the opposite end. The small flame creates suction and draws debris and wax from the ear. It is believed to reduce pressure and restore balance in the head, and is a fantastic measure to prevent infection or clogs. Ear candling is not appropriate for anyone with a punctured ear drum, or one who currently has an ear or sinus infection.
As always, keep an eye out for the April Mailing that gives you first hand information on prices and deals for the month.
Take great care. We’ll see you on the table.
